Himesh Reshammiya to compose the music for Singham 2

Singham 2 (translation: Lion 2) is an upcoming Bollywood action film directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is the sequel to the 2011 super hit Singham, featuring Ajay Devgan. The project will feature Devgn reprising the title role. Despite only being announced, the film is expected to go on floors late 2013, expecting a Diwali 2014 release.  

Director Rohit Shetty announced his thoughts on making a sequel to one of his finest movies Singham (2011). After filming Chennai Express with Shahrukh Khan, Shetty reportedly has begun filming for Singham 2 with the lead star Ajay Devgn. Rohit Shetty said that Asin Thottumkal may star opposite Ajay Devgn in Singham 2. The lead actress is yet to be confirmed.
