Himesh Reshammiya : To me there is music, God and the universe that I feel is connected .
Himesh Reshammiya :
" To me there is music, God and the universe that I
feel is connected. I wanted to do something universally appealing and I
have already done 500 songs in India and Asia. English is the universal
language so my next step was to produce music in English."
Himesh Reshammiya ( 2010 ) :
“The whole media has neglected his devotion to music, acting and judging”. “In the last one year, I sang 50 songs, acted in many films and reality shows, but I have not yet got a page one coverage in the Time of India. No matter what I did, I was confined to the local supplements. I cannot imagine that these media organizations are neglecting my work and publishing someone’s phone talk?
“A close friend of mine asked me to sue the media in general for their
indifference to creativity, but I kept mum. I was waiting for a moment
that will bind the media to cover my story”.
2013, He is back again with some good music . But I want the old melody Back from him . He should sing in his movies like he used to do beside giving chance to new talents .
Pity !!
ReplyDeleteDespite the mammoth amount of good work done by Himesh in all these years, every person crooning to Himesh's one or the other tracks, loving them to the core, yet hesitate to accept this fact and praise him...
There hasn't been a single year where he has composed chirpy, foot-tapping & lovable music, but still this Indian Superhit Machine is denied due credit, not nominated for any awards for even the Best of his (actually THE BEST) works viz. Namaste London, Radio, etc...
Shameful on the part of award jury to neglect his massively loved songs only because they cater to masses !!
Every composer has a style of composing. No particular style being named CORRECT...
If Himesh has tons of dhinchak tracks to his credit, he even has composed the earthy & rustic work in some tracks in movies like Banaras, Ahiste Ahiste, Radio, Namaste London, Karzzzz, Kajraare and many more !!
I really pray that this talented gem gets back his fair & deserving share of love and appreciation (if not considered worthy of any awards !!) from us...
Not a Big Fan of Himesh, but just a keen listener of Indian music...
